Ok this is strange, but I managed to run it on the actual PC terminal rather than the VNC terminal. But after I installed the Mythtv program, it won't let me use it. After a reinstall I attempted it again and get the same message:

Yeah, it's saying it's not currently installed. I only installed the server version of Ubuntu.
