Yes, I'm a noob. I have a ubuntu server 12.04 and ubuntu desktop 13.04. So, what im trying to do is copy and paste between using the remote desktop viewer. Can anybody help me accomplish this? the paste feature in the viewer is blacked out.

I'm building a server, now I'm trying to get vnc viewer to work but I keep getting an error saying connection not established. I don't know what I could be doing wrong.
