OK so I have determined I can't use v10 w/o moving grub after the install which I am not comfortable enough to do. So, I decided to install 11.10 which I found out I guess broke VNC... fantastic! Android no doubt. I don't get how people can use such a restricted system like iOS... and then every time you do something they can't do it's Oh well we don't need to do that! OMG drives me mad! I have a SGSII myself, love it.

I gave up with that version and went back to V11... but when I get to install vnc this is what I am running into...

Hi there and welcome to the forums :thumbup: I'm a bit puzzled, it should work fine without a CD drive installed. :? Obviously as long as you've installed Ubuntu on your hard drive.
