Immediately After I had logged out the forums I was fronted with the problem where i didnt have permissions to make changes within the folder, Create a folder. copy files from my laptop to the networked folder etc. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? http://i45.tinypic.com/wlpar.png

Hmm good point, I did restart the server there when I was following the steps in that post.

This is one to keep in mind for the future!

Ok now I feel like an idiot because Im sure I had already tried the steps in that post and it didnt work :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

The only thing I can think of is that I didnt restart the samba servers..................... :idea:

I work on a few MOD Sites up here in Scotland and you would be shocked to see their network infrastructure some of the time (hence why Im on the site in the first place).
