Re: FlexGet RSS Feeds

Are you based in the UK or some other country where those first two sites are banned? What happens if you type/paste those two URLs into a browser? Do you get the RSS feed back or some tosh about the sites being blocked?

Re: FlexGet RSS Feeds

Hi,

Your issue is here:

Code: Select all

settings:
 720p
 timeframe: 6 hours
You need a colon at the end of 720p. So, it should be 720p:

Hope this helps.

Re: Deluge-Daemon Crashing

Hi guys,

The preferred implementation now is to use upstart so I've re-written my Deluge Guide to reflect this.

Hi Yoram,

I've updated my Deluge Guide. Please have a read through. Mine doesn't keep crashing anymore.

Re: VNC - Blank Gery Screen

Hi there and welcome to the forums. I've just run through my guide using a new copy of 14.04 and it works as expected. Are you sure you edited the ".vnc/xstartup" statup script as per the guide? If you'd like me to take a look at it please issue the following command and send me the output...

Re: Problems connecting Win7 to Ubuntu server using PuTTY

Hi there, Have you installed openssh on the server? sudo apt-get install openssh-server Next try and ping the server using the IP address and if you get a response use that in the "Host Name (or IP Address)" field on your Putty configuration screen instead of the hostname. Lastly, if you h...

Re: PCI Passthrough Drivers

That's a good question and one I wish I knew the answer to. When I, unsuccessfully, tried with my TV tuner, the drivers were already part of the kernel so I didn't have to worry about that. As I mentioned in the other thread tho I gave up before I got it working

Re: The "introduce yourself" thread

Hi there, The abandonment of KVM for the guest/host configuration was more a "temporary" thing than a permanent thing. I got stuck trying to share hardware across guests, specifically a TV Tuner. It also transpired that guests saw the main storage as being "on the network" as opp...

My wife often says "what would I do if you weren't here?" I'm a bit worried about what she has planned?!
