Re: removing mount points
Hi Ian Since I wiggled with the mounts it seems that I damaged something. When entering webmin, I have no the main screen only two bars (VS three) for real memory and disk space. The third (i think it was virtual mem) in missing. And about since that time I can only write to the SAMBA shares. All re...

Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
Hi Ian, Guys
It's good.!!
I wasn't around for the last few days and I though to give up VNC and continue with the KVM.
Fortunately, I had my server waiting and when logged in I saw your last post.
Great work
Yoram

Re: removing mount points
Well, my main objective in virtualisation is to remove the extra stress of training from the media server. Currently running 10.10 on an old machine, I suffered several newbie issues like the mount points issue that initiated this thread. I would like changes to be baked befor implementing them on t...

Re: removing mount points
right. I did it 3 times already. The GNOME-CORE is about 700MB . Do you think that the problem relies in the server itself or in the GNOME (new version 3)? Could the older version of gnome solve this issue? Regarding VM, my new server has the Intel E6750 that supports Intel's Virtualization. What is...

removing mount points
I have this issue with mount points for some time. Its annoying and requires user input on every startup of the system. On my 10.10 server I have some "leftover" mount points definitions that were originally mistaken, or, does not exist anymore. On startup, I have to "S"(skip) th...

Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
thanks
Found that the 12.04LTS is not in beta any more so I've started all over again.
Not done the VNC yet.
The other problem I had with the BETA was that the GUI was loaded on the server at startup
I'll keep posting as I proceed

UBUNTU 12.04LTS
Hi Finally I have collected enough parts for a new server. It has an Intel E6750 (core 2 duo) and a gigabit ethernet. My plan is to install the OS and than move the data disks from the old server. My old server runs version10.10. This time I decided for the latest LTS version which I found...

Re: flexget - where are my files
Hi Ian I looked for the "already downloaded" files but could not find any. After upgrading FlexGet and fixing the "movedone" issue they were downloaded immediately. Looks like the new version has lots of features in it. I found a nice and complex config.yml example here: https://...

Hi
Have just upgraded FLEXGET to the latest version.
Changes required in the "movedone" directive
Hope this upgrade will fix the missing files issue
Will post again in a few days
