Hi Guys

New to linux and this forum. How would you upgrade to a newer version of
snapraid on Ubuntu 12.04 server?

Hi there and welcome to the forums

I just follow the instructions as if it was a new install. It tends to create a separate folder for the new version so you can manually delete the old one once you're done if you like (or leave it there, it does not harm).
