I have a user as part of the "users" and it has a password.

I click on : Samba Windows File Sharing > Convert Users > select user name and same error no matter what I press in that menu in webmin.

"""""""""""

Hi Iain,

I've not come across this one before so I'll have to blag it. When you created the user in Webmin (ie. you clicked on System -> "Users and Groups" & clicked on "Create a new user") did you assign it a password and check the "Normal Password" option? And you're logged onto Webmin as root, right? If the answer's yes to both then I'm not sure what's going wrong, sorry.

Ian.
