geexbox ushare?

i'm having some issues getting and installing this as several different sites tell me i need to download/install this several different ways...so far all i've done is the mercurial bit as suggested by their site http://ushare.geexbox.org/#Download and then followed through with

Code: Select all

hg clone http://hg.geexbox.org/ushare

but i feel as though i'm missing some steps like some sort of config that would help me identify which files i'd like to share with an xbox 360

just wondering if anyone else can display this in the most cave man-ish way possible

Not sure if you have this solved or not. I have no experience with this app but I can tell you that for UPNP PS3 Mediaserver is an easy to use solution. It does have a GUI frontend so if you are running in a true headless server with out a GUI it may not be for you.
