Hi Guys

Thanks so mush

1. VNC is OK now. At the first time I have set it to load at boot
but after the n'th attempt probably forgot it :crazy:

2. SAMBA is OK as well. Problem was ownership of the directory "root:root"
instead of "yoram:yoram" changed it and it was good.

Now I'm going to the other servers (DLNA, mail?) will post here on the progress/problems

Yoram :)

Nice work on solving the directory ownership yourself Yoram. Fingers crossed that things go smoothly for you from now on :thumbup:

Hi
Squeezebox and Mediatomb up and running.
There was one flaw in mediatomb's installation.
It seems that the UI is not activated upon install on UBUNTU 10.10
quick search found the resolution here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1618859
"
3. When the editor is opened change ui enabled and transcoding enabled settings to yes. (the effected lines should look like this)
<ui enabled="yes" show-tooltips="yes">
<transcoding enabled="yes">
4. save your changes and close the editor . . . .
"
you may want to add it to the MediaTomb installation instructions
