Is it time to upgrade?

I've been running my server for sometime on 10.04, although just lately, I've been experiencing some issues with Mythtv. So the question is, is it time to move to 12.04 and myth 0.25?
I do use VNC as I have a VM running XP on the server (to run a windows only piece of software).
What issues have others had and overcome?
