Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
Got 12.04 LTS, installed in a VM and after following this guide: [url]http://skerit.com/en/computer/english-vnc-x11-session-on-ubuntu-12-04-server-without-monitor-or-graphics-card/[url] I have got it running on VNC, although I am not keen on the XFCE desktop, I am sure the scripts could be tweaked t...

Re: The "introduce yourself" thread
Hello Kyle and welcome to forum
I ran FreeNAS myself for a while but I found it a little too clunky, my Linux box is much better but a lot more work has gone into setting it up, all thanks to Ian and his easy to understand guide.

Re: The "introduce yourself" thread
Hi there and welcome to the forum.
Please tell us more about UserOS and a link to it, you can never have too many server OS's to choose from.
I am very interested in if you can connect to via a remote desktop connection

Re: VNC Server Not Working
I'm waiting for 12.04LTS to be released before updating the whole site. I would hope that 12.04 reverts back to the "proper" way of running a server with VNC installed but that remains to be seen. No such luck mate, just installed 12.04 beta 1 on a VM and VNC is not working  ...

Re: Raspberry Pi
Check out the latest video over at http://www.raspberrypi.org/ OpenELEC has been ported for the Pi and I must say that this looks very interesting for a cheap media centre device. And also the model A has it's RAM doubled to 256MB. These thing's are going to be everywhere in the not too distant futu...
Re: Gaming?
Richard Burns Rally was a tough game, but more realistic than other games named after famous rally drivers.
Gaming?
First off this is not a PS3 is better than Xbox 360 or PC's are for proper gamer's thread, fanboys you have been warned. So what type of games do you play. For me it is usually shooters CoD (although I am not keen on MW3 ) Battlefield 3 perhaps the best online first person shooter from last y...

Re: Do you have a smartphone?
Ahh Tablets, If I had the money I would probably go for the HTC Flyer, although BlackBerry Playbooks are now very cheap but not much point as I don't use my BlackBerry anymore. The Dell Streak is quite nice also, but for the love of God avoid Chinese 'Droid tablets they are pure sh*te :!: :!: , beli...
