No not AWOL, just been busy with other stuff.
As Ian says a 32GB SSD would enough, just depends if you are going to run VM's as these take up quite a bit of drive space, also torrents take up a lot of space too, especially if you seed back 1:1.

Change import duty rules to encourage British manufacturing
Please sign the e-petition http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/27158
It is a great shame the R-Pi team had to out source the manufacturing of the R-Pi to overseas factories because of government legislation.
Thanks

I really can't wait to get my hands on a Raspi, it has been said that they are to produce cases for the Raspi.

Be patient with this link it takes a while to load, well at least it does for me, if XBMC works on the Pi it will solve a lot of problems for me.

Re: Raspberry Pi
The good folks over at Raspberrypi have put 10 numbered beta boards on eBay as a way of making a little extra cash, don't forget Raspberrypi is a charity. Now the idea is that some people collect such things, pre-production and such like. Here is a link to the auction for board #10 http://www.ebay.c...

Re: Can ping but not access server from Win7 using Samba
Are you connecting via wireless from W7 Laptop if so try connecting via a cable to see if that makes a difference. I had a similar problem when I updated Kaspersky, I had to tweek the firewall in Kaspersky so the network is a local rather than public. Mind you the bloody stupid "Homegroup"...

Re: Take a look at this!!
Agreed the Raspi will be a good buy, but it hasn't got the grunt of the CuBox.
Looking forward to the release of the Raspi, bit of a shame Ubuntu hasn't been ported for it yet, Ubuntu need to get this sorted as they will be missing a major trick.
